The future colleague will join the Cyber Security Operations Team in the role of CYBERSECURITY ANALYST - Tier 2, responsible for in-depth analysis of security alerts, handling Tier 1 escalations, investigating potential incidents, and coordinating initial response actions to contain and mitigate threats.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzing data and logs from various sources (e.g., NDR, EDR, firewalls, system events)Providing operational guidance and technical solutions to contain and mitigate security incidents, in collaboration with the SecOps and CSIRT teamsDrafting detailed incident reports, including root cause analysis, corrective actions taken, and recommendations to prevent recurrenceCollaborating with the SecOps team to optimize security system configurations and implement new rules in SIEM and SOAR platformsMonitoring emerging trends in the cybersecurity threat landscape and sharing relevant insights with the team to enhance detection and response capabilitiesHard SkillsThe ideal candidate meets the following requirements :Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a related field2-3 years of experience in operational cybersecurity roles or in managing security incidentsAdvanced knowledge of SIEM, NDR, EDR, and SOAR technologiesProven experience in log analysis and security event correlationFamiliarity with cyberattack techniques (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) and corresponding defense methodologiesBasic understanding of forensic analysis and data recovery toolsRelevant certifications (e.g., GIAC, ECSA, CEH) are a plusLanguage SkillsGood command of Italian and English, both written and spokenGood command of French and / or Spanish is a plusSoft SkillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and adapt to evolving contextsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesCooperative spirit and teamwork orientationFlexibility and availability for on-call shifts, including holidays and weekends
