OverviewAs a contract manager, you will work as a member of the Legal and Contracts Department and you’ll be responsible for negotiating, drafting and overseeing commercial contracts relating to Sungrow’s Italy and, as required, other EU countries projects. You will ensure contract issues are resolved quickly and effectively while supporting daily tasks in PV and ESS activities.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Contracts function on activities in PV and ESS Business Unit in Italy and some EMEA countries.Review, draft, qualify and negotiate various types of contractual documentation including framework agreements, sales contracts, General Terms & Conditions, purchasing agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements and letters of intent.Identify risks and deviations from Sungrow contracting principles and obtain senior management approval where necessary.Prepare and negotiate contractual qualifications with new and existing clients.Prepare contract and risk summaries to ensure relevant project personnel are aware of contractual obligations, risks and objectives.Negotiate to resolution contractual and financial disputes on live projects, consulting with and advising Commercial managers.Maintain and adhere to all relevant policies, processes and procedures contained within Sungrow’s Business Management System.Your profileDegree educated in Law or relevant Business-related qualification.At least 3-5 years’ experience in PV, Energy Storage, Gas and / or Construction industry.Commercially focused with knowledge of Contract Law and the ability to draft in a legal / contractual context.Experience working within a Contracts or Legal department.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships at all levels and translate to a non-legal audience.Demonstrates credibility and professionalism at all times.Ability to engage, influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.Pro-active with a solutions-based approach and the ability to constructively challenge and be challenged.Ability to demonstrate initiative, ownership, and the capacity to work within a multi-disciplined team.Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills; proficient in report writing and presenting.English and Italian at C1 level; Chinese language skills are an advantage.Excellent planning and organizing skills, including meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.Why us?Opportunities for career advancementBonus payment based on pre-agreed KPI agreementsA multinational team with European and cross-European collaborationOpportunities to deepen knowledge in PV inverters, energy storage solutions and related technologiesTechnical and commercial training in our headquarters in Germany and visits to the R&D facility in ChinaAbout UsWe are a green tech company with a mission : Clean Power for All.
