At our Competence Centre 'Power Converter Solutions', we lead the development, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of high‑power electronic converters, focusing on STATCOMs, Rail Power Supply Converters, and static frequency converters for industrial applications. Our converters contribute to integrating renewable energies into tomorrow's electrical grid while enhancing overall system efficiency. How You’ll Make An Impact Lead and support Lean Six Sigma projects to improve process efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction Identify automation opportunities and develop solutions using Power Automate, Power BI, and advanced automation tools Design and implement dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and support data‑driven decisions Collaborate with stakeholders to map, analyse, and optimise business processes Promote a continuous improvement mindset across the organization through training, coaching, and best practice sharing Support digital transformation initiatives aligned with strategic business goals Your background Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years experience in continuous improvement, process optimisation, or digital transformation roles Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) and advanced automation tools (e.g. Power Automate Desktop) Solid understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology (Green Belt or higher preferred) Experience in process mapping, root cause analysis, and change management Proven experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to build strong working relationships and effectively communicate with cross‑functional teams Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Fluent in English; German is beneficial More About Us Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
