Position Overview
The Communications lead supports the CMO in developing impactful communications programs in line with the global marketing strategy and regional business goals to increase brand visibility, create desirability, reinforce brand positioning, build community. This role encompasses the external and internal coordination of communications programs across PR & Influence while mentoring a team to drive results and operate in line with company objectives and values.
Key Responsibilities
PR & Influence

Develop and execute global editorial strategy for both product and brand key messages
Drive development and execution of regional editorial plans across variety of editorial types including product placement, well shoots, feature stories, round‑up inclusions, interviews
Manage network of global PR offices and agencies, aligning regularly to drive results, brief on editorial strategies, understand asset needs, hindsight pitch campaigns and explore opportunities
Oversee development and distribution press materials, asset packages
Oversee optimization of sample collections trafficking
Develop interview / press meeting briefing materials and coordinate briefing meetings
Manage Creative Director / CEO interviews and oversee post‑interview follow up to ensure accuracy
Cultivate high‑profile media relationships for the Creative Directors and CEO, targeting key markets and executing series of deskside / hospitality meetings synergizing with trip agendas
Develop and execute global influence marketing strategies including VIP dressing, product seeding, content creation, event appearances, collaboration projects etc.
Creation of a Global cultural community of stylists, photographers etc. by working with external agencies and the regions
Partner with Design Studio to maximize VIP dressing through optimization of samples, archive, and custom
Work closely with regional marketing leads on the alignment of VIP and Influence activities
Identify and build relationships with prominent people of influence
Coordinate the creation of content with talents through development and curation of content briefs

Integrated Marketing

Drive communication programs execution through influential relationships across cross‑functional peers
Partner with Merchandising on the Marketing Message Map to define product pushes considering delivery timing, business investments, brand goals, seasonal / regional holidays, and cultural / consumer trends
Develop innovative media partnerships that engage audiences and maximize ROI
Oversee regional brand marketing programs to align communications guidelines across channels and markets
Develop EU regional brand activations to support EU retail and wholesale network developing local calendar of activities and connecting with CRM partner clienteling opportunities
Oversee campaign planning, reporting; oversee department budget management

Qualifications

Minimum 12 years’ experience in PR, with a fashion or luxury brand or agency
Established network of press contacts, strong knowledge of international media
Relationships with PR and events agencies and influential community
Fluent in English and Italian; strong communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to think strategically and creatively while working in a fast‑paced environment
Must be an excellent team player with the ability to mentor and nurture a team
Exceptional multi‑tasking, follow‑through and problem‑solving skills
