OverviewJoin to apply for the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Services role at Google.Minimum qualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.3 years of experience with cloud technologies: distributed compute environments, cloud-native application development, hosted services, storage systems, remote Linux/Unix system administration, and content delivery networks.Experience in writing software in one or more languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, Java, C++, or similar.Experience with designing, scaling, operating and debugging network environments.Experience with infrastructure as a code, and in CI/CD pipeline design and operational management.Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.Preferred qualificationsExperience with web standards (such as REST-based APIs, and web security strategies).Experience architecting large production-grade platform solutions, with knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration.Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies.Understanding and alignment regarding Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions.Proficient in CI/CD pipeline design and operational management.ResponsibilitiesManage the customer’s problem through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products.Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in Engineering, Sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.Develop an in-depth knowledge of Google\'s product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, and determining the root cause for customer reported challenges, and build tools for faster diagnosis.Work with Product and Engineering teams to improve the supportability, products, and interact with Site Reliability Engineering teams to drive high-quality production.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
