Edge - Division of Eurosearch Consultants - specializes in middle management and professionals research on behalf of a multinational leader in the diagnostic / Health Care business, is searching for the :CHIEF ACCOUNTANTResponsibilitiesThe Chief Accountant (RTR) will serve as a pivotal member of the Finance / Accounting team, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP. This role is responsible for managing and overseeing various facets of accounting across all entities, as well as developing internal control policies and procedures.As a leader of a newly created team, she/he will develop the team identity, engagement, and value creation in the new setup.Reports to the Accounting & Tax Manager and leads a team of 4 Senior Accountants.Coordinate the General Ledger team to ensure timely and accurate reporting for 10-15 legal entities in Italy, according to Italian and IFRS GAAP.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.Reconcile and manage ITA / IFRS GAAP discrepancies.Perform control procedures as specified by the Internal Control System.Oversee the preparation of tax obligations such as VAT settlements, Intrastat and Esterometro submissions, CU freelancers, Mod. 770.Manage relations with industry-specific agencies, statutory auditors, and group auditors.Interact directly with international group functions and other finance departments to produce high-quality accounting reports and analyses, as well as handle special projects and ad-hoc requests.Participate in strategic financial projects, including ERP system upgrades and support of M&A activities.Maintain and improve the RTR process across entities and departments to ensure efficiency and compliance.RequirementsMaster's degree in Economics or Accounting (5 years).5-8 years in a similar position within complex multinational environments.Previous experience in a top 4 audit firm is a significant plus.Proficiency in English (business level).Knowledge of IAS / IFRS standards.Advanced knowledge of SAP FI.Advanced MS Excel skills.Strong collaborative and supportive attitude.Ability to influence decision-making, build trust among senior leaders and colleagues.Change agent, embracing transformation, and adopting new processes and technologies.Passion for people development.Ability to build relationships.Work locationRIF: BR / ChiefAccountantEdge (Division of Eurosearch Consultants), in charge of the recruiting process, guarantees maximum confidentiality and equal employment opportunity to both genders (L. 903 / 77).
