Thinking beyond opportunity and reward, at Flowserve, we are inspired by working together to create extraordinary flow control solutions to make the world better for everyone!Role Summary :As a CAD Engineer you are going to be responsible for designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor etc. You will perform a variety of mechanical engineering design tasks related to mechanical seals products that meet the needs of the business and departmental objectives of the Italian team.Your Role :Perform engineering work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining and upgrading mechanical seals models.Design, develop and engineer high quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.Produce designs that meet targets for feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, legislation and timing.Interact with Sales engineers , ComOps team, Operation teams and clients, as necessary to obtain critical design information necessary to complete project within intended time frame.Train and guide Production Engineers on engineered design.Determine limitations, assumptions and solutions in the design and development of CAD models.Assist in implementation of CAD engineering applications.Keeps abreast of new developments in the field of machine tool equipment, tooling, and methods.
