OverviewJob Title: Business Intelligence AnalystAs a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst for our Italian business, you will be a pivotal member of the Italian BI team, focused on local delivery and transforming Italian analytics offerings. You will collaborate closely with local teams and leadership to leverage data to drive insights, enhance client value, and propel our business operations forward. You will work with a locally focused data operations team within the broader EMEA Analytics team, ensuring synergy with data scientists and automation specialists. You will specialize in analyzing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights for strategic decisions for both clients and internal operations. Your analytical skills and deep understanding of BI tools will enable you to visualize and communicate complex data effectively. This high-visibility role is about being at the heart of innovation and driving positive change across the organization.What you’ll doSimplify and present complex data clearly to diverse audiences, ensuring understanding across internal teams.Convert strategic business inquiries into actionable insights by identifying analytics resources and requirements.Create prototype solutions such as reports and dashboards to visually represent data and support insight generation.Partner with the wider EMEA Analytics Team to maximize value and outcomes.Deliver on KPIs aligned with business goals, supported by a solid analytical framework.Facilitate communication between business units and Analytics teams to clearly define objectives, needs, and timelines, enhancing data organization, innovation, and optimization.RequirementsLanguage Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Italian is essential.Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field is required.Professional Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Business Intelligence (BI) role.Common MS Office applications to excellent levels including SharePoint and OneDrive.Technical SkillsExpertise in Power BI (Power Query/ETL, DAX, and modelling). Experience with Tableau is also acceptable.Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate; Dataverse, Fabric familiarity is a plus).Experience in SQL and relational databases.Familiarity with Databricks and Azure.Experience in R, Python and/or Spark.Soft SkillsStrong communication skills with attention to detail and a diligent, focused approach.Ability to work effectively under deadlines, manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proactive team player who can also work independently when required.LocationMILAN, ItalySeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionResearch, Analyst, and Information Technology
