About The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in La Spezia, Liguria. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑funded company. You’ll collaborate with Italy’s most premium and top‑rated restaurants and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.
What You’ll Be Doing

Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion, becoming an area‑level expert.
Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
Communicate with restaurants via visits, email, calls or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
Help restaurant owners/managers overcome barriers or hesitations.
Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.

Requirements

Comfortable targeting new business and have sales experience.
Confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers in face‑to‑face, phone or email.
Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
Comfortable with negotiations.
Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
Tenacious and persistent.
