Job Purpose
The Build Operations Engineer assists and deploys the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational solutions within the Infrastructure and Operations Build team. This is a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture and infrastructure to support business operations and innovation throughout the Build Operations domain. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and deliver measurable value across the Infrastructure and Operations Buid domain.
Job Description
The Services in the scope are :

All Infrastructure and Operations Build domain subjects, including but not limited to Automation & Web application development, Cloud, Connectivity, Unified Communications & Endpoint

Main activities :

Ensure platform integrity aligns with technical roadmaps.
Identify ways to simplify architecture and solutions while avoiding new complexities.
Lead the delivery of business value and improved user experiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure successful implementation of IT projects
Develop and maintain documentation, including system diagrams, design specifications.
Provide support, guidance where appropriate whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement, delivery quality, change management, skills development and knowledge sharing.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to inform strategic decisions in the ‘Build Operations domain
This role requires engaging with a global, multi-national team and adapting quickly to new technologies, while sharing knowledge and motivating colleagues.

You are meant for this job if :
Qualifications :

BSc in relevant discipline

Required experience :

Extensive knowledge of automation Intune and SCCM.
Proficient in web application development using JavaScript and TypeScript.
Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions
Familiarity with cost optimization strategies in cloud platforms
Proficient in hybrid infrastructure models, with hands‑on knowledge of both cloud and on‑premises solutions

Required technical / problem solving skills :

Proven, demonstratable and evidence-backed experience developing and scripting with PowerShell.
Understanding of CI / CD development cycle, usage of distributed version control and collaboration tools, such as GitHub Enterprise.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform as well as pipeline tools like GitHub Actions.
Extensive knowledge of automation such as Intune and SCCM.
Skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure to support business services
