About the Role
This profile is responsible for:

Defining the design of electronic hardware for upgrade kits during the quotation phase
Defining the update of the PLC and HMI software during the quotation phase
Defining electrical diagram and components selections with particular focus on motion control and safety
Analysing technical quotation of third‑party suppliers to include in the quotation
Defining hardware or software solutions with the target to understand customer’s need
In case of need, the solution developed during quotation will also be realised in the execution phase

What you need to be successful:

At least 5 years of experience in automatic machinery for primary or secondary packaging
Degree in Automation, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
Quotation skills and methods, also identifying risks and mitigation plan
Knowledge of the main PLC programming environments (Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens)
Knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, including:

Essential Health and Safety Requirements (EHSR)
EC Declaration of Conformity
Knowledge of functional safety standards


Reading and editing electrical diagrams (EPLAN P5‑P8)
Fluent English language at a professional level, written and oral
Availability to travel
Flexibility in managing priorities
Effective communication skills to easily build trust towards colleagues
