Located at Via Palestro 24 and overlooking one of Milan’s oldest parks, the Indro Montanelli Gardens, Casa Cipriani Milano evokes the elegant and comfortable atmosphere of traditional English gentlemen’s clubs, enriched with touches of Italian classicism.The project includes 15 Rooms & Suites and a Private Club featuring a Restaurant with a spacious terrace, the Pickering Room, and the Living Room — all designed by Florentine designer Michele Bönan. Additionally, the Wellness & Fitness Center, a small oasis in the heart of the city, was conceived by Studio Apostoli.In this unique, authentic, and refined setting, where we welcome our guests with a service of excellence rooted in over 90 years of tradition, we are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to support the F&B Director in the daily management of the department, contributing to the maintenance of quality standards and the development of the guest experienceRequirements :Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within high-end establishments or private clubsExcellent organizational and managerial skillsStrong communication abilities and a team-oriented mindsetAttention to detail and a commitment to service excellenceGoal-oriented with a proactive approachIn-depth knowledge of fine dining, bar, and high-end hospitality operationsFluent in English; a second language is considered a plusStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsFinancial acumen, including budget management and financial reportingResponsibilities :Assist in the day-to-day management of all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, banqueting, and cateringEnsure consistency, quality, and excellence across all F&B outletsMonitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all F&B areasSupport recruitment, hiring, training, and development of F&B personnelPlan staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage across all F&B activitiesEvaluate performance and provide constructive feedbackDevelop and implement training programs and corrective actions as neededFoster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growthEnsure exceptional and equitable service for all guests by demonstrating active listening, initiative, and a proactive attitude in addressing requests, handle complaints promptly and professionallyMonitor guest satisfaction and implement corrective measures with the F&B teamAssist in preparing and managing the F&B budget, including forecasting, cost control, and revenue managementAnalyze financial performance and identify opportunities to enhance profitabilityEnsure compliance with financial policies and proceduresOversee menu planning to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standardsCoordinate menu tastings and presentationsSupervise ordering, storage, and inventory of F&B supplies and equipmentConduct regular inventory checks to minimize waste and control costsEnsure compliance with health, HACCP, safety, and hygiene regulationsImplement and enforce F&B policies to maintain a safe psychological, physical, and hygienic work environmentConduct regular inspections and training sessions to ensure staff adherence to safety standardsAssist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote F&B outlets and special eventsTrack and analyze the effectiveness of promotional activitiesCollaborate with other hotel departments such as Sales, Events, and Front Office to ensure seamless service deliveryParticipate in regular management meetings and contribute to overall business strategiesResponsible for the results of the annual employee climate surveyResponsible for drafting and implementing the action plan based on the survey outcomes, in collaboration with departmental headsEnsure the safety of property and individuals, reporting any critical issues to ManagementPromote and ensure internal communication by organizing monthly departmental meetingsBenefits :Employment contract as per National Collective Agreement for the Tourism SectorWelfare ProgramTraining and team-building activitiesCareer development opportunities within the CompanyPossibility of international assignmentsJ-18808-Ljbffr
