In this role, you'll play a key part in the Purchase to Pay process, ensuring that all invoices and expenses are paid quickly and accurately. You will also record all data accurately and resolve any queries. In our Accounts Payable team, you'll ensure that high-volume, multi-currency purchase orders are matched to invoices and accurately posted in accordance with all Italian rules, regulations, and group policies. Additionally, you'll maintain all ledgers, reconcile supplier statements monthly, monitor and review vendors to ensure they are correctly set up within the ERP system, and resolve internal or external payment or invoice queries. You will provide information and data for the month-end accrual process, record all bank statement payments in the General Ledger, and reconcile designated supplier-related accounts monthly. This vital role supports the European Finance Team and involves providing assistance with related accounting requirements.Qualifications / ExperienceYou are likely an Accounts Payable Specialist with a good understanding of the General Ledger. Hands-on experience in Italian Accounts Payable processes, including knowledge of Italian VAT requirements and general ledger management, is essential. Good communication skills are key, with proficiency in both Italian and English, written and verbal, to a professional standard. You should be comfortable working under tight deadlines, organized, and able to work in a fully traceable manner.This is a part-time position, working 20 hours a week, preferably 4 hours a day across 5 days. Flexibility with hours/days can be considered for the right candidate. The role is hybrid, with an average of 3 days per week at our Desio office (Via Nuova Valassina, 88, 20832 Desio) and 2 days from home.
