In Oterra we have colleagues from across the whole world. We all chip in when and where it is needed, and have a flat structure, high standards, and a pragmatic viewpoint to support our business agenda.About the positionWe are looking for an Account Manager to support our growth agenda with strong technical background. The successful candidate is a self-starter, knows what good looks like, and is a problem-solver with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who will lead the account development and penetration strategy for assigned customers or regions.What you will be doing :Manage Italian and Spanish Customers / DistributorsResolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely mannerContribute in positioning Oterra as leading and reliable high quality colour supplier in the countryOpen projects to guarantee long term businessTeam work with South Europe teamWork in collaboration with ITCs, PM and Business SupportPromote launches and Campaigns in his / her customersTechnical responsible for his / her account60% travel is expected for relevant Tranings, Customer / Distributors visitsWho are we looking for?We need an additional team player, who has the resources to strengthen the image of Oterra as a reliable supplier of high-quality natural colours for the food industry. We are looking for a person that is motivated by working with people. The right candidate will have high standards, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop relationships. Other soft skills we really appreciate are being resilient, collaborative, and having a good sense of humour.Key attributes to succeed :Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Food SciencePrevious technical sales experience of 4 years or moreUnderstading of sales performance metricsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Proficient in CRM systems, preferably SalesForceFluency in written and spoken Italian and English, Spanish will be also very welcomeDemonstrated experience in Food & BeverageWhat we offerA unique opportunity to be part of the exciting build-up of our Sales team in Northern, Central, and Southern Europe, and to join us on our mission to be the best enablers of Oterra’s success.
