Workshop Maintenance HSE Specialist - Job Description

As the Workshop Maintenance HSE Specialist, you will manage the day-to-day maintenance activities in the workshop being HSE frontline. You will partner with the manufacturing operational leaders and the workshop maintenance team to reduce and manage risks associated with operations. You will be accountable for strengthening our interdependent HSE culture.
In this role, you will:
Support on Permit to work and interfering risks managing
Supervise critical and high-risk workshop maintenance activities
Collaborate with the maintenance cell on the preparation of heat map with related defenses matrix
Develop special focused projects as machine guarding
Improve and issue HSE workshop maintenance procedures/work instructions
Be responsible on inspection/audit on workshop contractors
Monitor H&S and E performance (KPI) of our workshop maintenance contractor
Support the Safety Talks deployment and HSE induction
Support on checking the contractor documents and work-flow process for entrance
Support on Investigations and CAPA process
Support management of HSE Concerns and incidents
Be responsible for workshop JSA revision and “Non-Routinary” activities
Be responsible for Management of Change (MOC) follow-up
To be successful in this role you will have:
Degree in a Technical field from an accredited University (preferable Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or Technical Diploma
Great experience in HSE operations within the Oil&Gas or Energy Industry
Have relevant knowledge of HSE management systems, Local HSE regulations and widely used international standards
Strong Knowledge with HSE operations on Equipment Maintenance (Permit to work, interfering risks managing)
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
Be able to write/read fluently in English
Have good teamwork, mediation, relationship-building and influencing skills
