Job SummaryThe Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a skilled leader to oversee operations in our Wood Fabrication Unit. This role manages the production of custom wood products while designing and delivering vocational training that equips inmates with industry-ready woodworking and soft skills to support successful reentry.As part of this work, you’ll provide hands-on instruction in safe and efficient woodworking practices, mentor participants, and partner with workforce organizations to align training with employment opportunities. You’ll also supervise staff and inmate workers, ensure quality and safety standards, and contribute to innovative production methods. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training.
