The company employs approximately 30,000 people across more than 50 countries.Saipem values diversity and inclusion, promoting a work environment that respects individual dignity and fosters collaboration and fairness.Position PurposeAs a Vessel Equipment Engineer, you will be part of the Asset Based Services business line.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and control of mechanical production equipment.Ensure equipment efficiency and prepare maintenance plans with spare parts.Manage the deck mechanic team, ensuring safety and quality compliance.Provide training to personnel.Oversee continuous operation of production equipment through maintenance and repairs.Supervise offshore Mechanic Foremen and Mechanics, ensuring safety and quality standards.Prioritize maintenance work and schedule maintenance activities.Maintain stock levels of spare parts and materials.Prepare and set up equipment for project operations, liaising with the Chief Engineer and Offshore Construction Manager.Preserve vessel equipment during long stand-by periods.Complete equipment documentation and ensure proper packing and preservation of mobile equipment upon demobilization.Report near-misses and incidents.Conduct Toolbox Talks and prepare Job Safety Analyses as needed.RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringExperience: 3-5 yearsTechnical Skills: Ability to use software for preventive maintenance managementAdditional InformationWilling to work offshore on rotation, both nationally and internationally.Saipem encourages applications from candidates who feel they can contribute to the company's growth, even if not perfectly matching all criteria.Saipem promotes diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a safe and sustainable working environment.Application ProcessInterested candidates should upload a PDF version of their CV for optimal functionality during recruitment.
