Listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, it operates in over 50 countries with about 30,000 employees from more than 120 nationalities.The company values diversity and inclusion, promoting a supportive work environment that respects individual dignity and fosters collaboration.Position PurposeAs a Vessel Equipment Engineer within the Asset Based Services business line, you will be involved in:Carrying out maintenance and control of all mechanical production equipment.Ensuring the efficiency of production equipment.Preparing maintenance plans and managing spare parts.Managing the deck mechanic team in compliance with safety and quality procedures.Providing training to personnel.Ensuring continuous operation of production equipment through maintenance and repairs.Supervising and coordinating offshore mechanics and foremen to ensure safety and quality compliance.Defining maintenance priorities and schedules.Managing spare parts stock levels to ensure work continuity and vessel self-sufficiency.Preparing equipment in advance of project operations and preserving equipment during standby periods.Completing equipment documentation and ensuring proper packing and preservation at project completion.Reporting near-misses and incidents.Conducting toolbox talks and safety analyses as required.Candidate RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringExperience: 3-5 years of relevant experienceTechnical Skills: Ability to use software for preventive maintenance and office managementAdditional Information: Willingness to work offshore on vessels at national and international levels.We encourage candidates who believe they can contribute to our growth to apply, even if their profile isn't a perfect match.Additional NotesSaipem promotes diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, standing against discrimination of all kinds.Safety and sustainability are core values, especially in challenging environments.More information can be found on our career page and Instagram.Application InstructionsPlease upload a PDF version of your CV to enhance functionality during recruitment.
