Position Purpose: As a Vessel Equipment Engineer within the Asset Based Services business line, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing vessel equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and control of mechanical production equipment.
Ensure equipment efficiency and prepare maintenance plans with spare parts management.
Manage the deck mechanic team, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Provide training to personnel and supervise maintenance operations.
Coordinate with offshore teams and define maintenance priorities.
Manage spare parts inventory and equipment preparation for operations.
Ensure proper preservation of equipment during long standby periods.
Complete equipment documentation and oversee demobilization procedures.
Report incidents and near-misses, and conduct safety talks and job safety analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
3-5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in software for preventive maintenance management.
