Descrizione Lavoro
Looking to Kickstart a Green Career While Creating Real-World Impact?
Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to gain practical experience in a purpose-driven environment? If you're looking for a way to build strong professional skills in venture philanthropy and impact analysis, all while helping people and the planet, this opportunity is for you!
Who are we?
Easysustainability is first and foremost a safe space where to practice sustainability skills and network in the field through an online local and global community of enthusiastic and professionally diverse volunteers.
What we do
Our cause consists of supporting youth and career transitioners in their journey towards green jobs as defined by the International Labour Organisation, and our activities aim to maximize their chances to land such jobs.
How we do it
We do it through several non-formal educational methods such as online coaching, job shadowing and job simulations. We also offer a tailored web platform with tools (e.g., dedicated personal development plans) to prepare green job seekers for the reality of the job market.
Why it matters
Green jobs are essential for creating a sustainable future by protecting the environment while driving economic growth. Preparing youth for green jobs equips them with the skills to contribute to this vital sector, ensuring long‑term job opportunities and a healthier planet for future generations.
Who is involved
Easysustainability relies on a network of several partnerships with leading institutions, NGOs, digital providers, employers, private donors, and individuals active in the broad field of sustainability.
About the Role
In this role, you will evaluate the positive impact of our project (including project ideas). To do this, you will gather insights from ongoing projects, analyze key metrics, and become familiar with internationally recognised venture philanthropy and sustainability reporting frameworks, such as the CSRD and GRI.
This is a great opportunity to gain real‑world experience in non‑profit impact assessments, reporting, and communication, all within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Your Responsibilities
A genuine interest in environmental sustainability, impact measurement, and a strong desire to contribute to systemic change.
A willingness to learn about venture philanthropy, as well as sustainability reporting frameworks such as the CSRD and GRI, and apply them in practice.
A commitment to professionalism, research, writing, and critical thinking.
A commitment of 3 hours per week.
Join and be part of a dedicated team working tirelessly to help solve global challenges, such as climate change and pollution. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the environment and create a more sustainable and resilient world. We empower you to choose the most suitable project for you (it’s also possible to propose your own if you desire!). Some examples of the projects we have been carrying out so far are: a biodiversity crediting programme, waste manager professionalisation pathway, pro‑bono consulting for startups, green job shadowing, anti‑food waste Erasmus+ in Poland, Armenia and many more.
Location & Remote Work
Our headquarter is in Livorno, Italy. However, our community is globally remote and occasionally takes part in physical events in Europe and some neighbouring countries. We welcome applicants from all over the world (so anyone can apply from any location if the project is fully remote) but keep in mind that our schedules are primarily based on the CET time zone.
