Venice in Peril Fund: Part-Time Operations ManagerWe are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of our office and support our team in achieving the charity’s mission. We believe in making a tangible difference, and we are looking for someone who shares this passion for our mission.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of our office and support our team in achieving the charity’s mission. This is a part-time role that spans various responsibilities, including administration, financial management, event coordination, and supporter relations.Why Work for Us?Flexible, part-time working hours (24-32 hours per week, depending on your preference).Opportunity to contribute to a globally significant cause and make a tangible impact.Annual leave and pension contributions (pro rata).Central London office location with occasional opportunities to work remotely.Location: Venice in Peril Fund CIO, 75 Cowcross Street, London EC1M 6ELSalary: £32,000-£36,000 per annum (pro rata, based on 3/4 days per week)Job RequirementsSkills and ExperienceA strong interest in Venice and its cultural heritage, with a good understanding of the city’s art and architecture scenes.Proven experience in operations management, office administration, or a similar role (charity or non-profit experience is a plus).Exceptional organisational skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.Strong IT proficiency, including familiarity with databases (Beacon experience is an advantage).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.Knowledge of charity governance and fundraising practices.An understanding of the heritage and cultural sectors in the UK and Italy.Job ResponsibilitiesOperational Management:Manage London office operations and technologySupport team and volunteersAdminister Membership database (GDPR compliance)Produce Annual ReportEvents/Communications:Manage website, social media, communicationsCoordinate newsletters and promotional materialsSupport events planning and executionAssist with Venice Patron Trip logisticsGovernance:Ensure regulatory complianceDevelop heritage partnershipsWrite proposals and sponsor reviews
