Amazon Business is seeking an enthusiastic researcher to explore the world of business customers, focusing on all aspects of UX research to evaluate the impact of designs and uncover problems that need to be solved.The researcher will work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to identify needs, prioritize research opportunities, and develop research roadmaps. Key responsibilities include planning and executing research activities with customers and prospects, generating ideas for new or more efficient ways to answer questions about customers, and collaborating with stakeholders to solve problems with data.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with product, design, and engineering partners to identify needs and prioritize high-impact research opportunitiesPlan and execute research activities with customers and prospects using mixed methodsGenerate ideas for new or more efficient ways to answer questions about customersCollaborate with stakeholders to solve problems with dataWork across all of Amazon to drive better research practices and bring attention to business customersVisibilize the value of human-centered research in the organizationBasic QualificationsBA/BS degree in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, Design or related fieldsSubstantial experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods (5+ yrs)Strong portfolio of past work experience and deliverables demonstrating impact across charters in large organizationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills (technical, business and executive audiences)Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver against role responsibilities, working with minimal guidance and direction in a fast-pace environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in B2B or B2C e-commerce or financial servicesExperience in dealing with stakeholders in large organizationsDemonstrated success with driving innovation or product/design decisions through research insightsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer and values diversity and inclusion.
