Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.OverviewAxa Partners is looking for an Underwriter.Location: Rome or MilanType of contract: PermanentSchedule: Full TimeWorking at AXA Partners CLP technical department means working in a dynamic, growing and international framework with a particular focus on entrepreneurship, initiative and personal development.ResponsibilitiesTransfer technical expertise to internal and external stakeholders such as partners, brokers, AXA entities, Senior Managers.Support the members of the Technical Direction and the non-technical members of BU.Pricing of Group Lifestyle, Credit Linked and GAP Insurance products.Drafting of the contractual agreements (such as Terms & Conditions, reinsurance treaties).Support in drafting the POG (Product Oversight Governance) agreements.Draft the answers to tenders and quote requests.Provide product, market and underwriting expertise in the country.Support the underwriting activities for other regions if necessary.Provide expert understanding and knowledge of the selected market and work in cooperation with the Commercial team to ensure AXA remains competitive and compliant with local regulation and internal guidelines.Coaching, guidance and technical support to the commercial team and other functions such as finance, operations and legal regarding day-to-day business.Product development/enhancement.Monthly and daily reporting of underwriting activity.Skills And ExperienceVery good interpersonal manner with clear communication skills.Analytical, creative and well organized.Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills towards commercial people and risk management counterparts.Meticulous and detail-oriented execution with responsibilities.Ownership of the products quoted and follow-ups.Italian language at a native level and excellent English/French (min B2).Excellent Excel skills.Education, Professional Qualifications And Experience3-5 years of experience in Insurance Underwriting/Risk Management/Actuarial department.Minimum: University Degree (At least Bachelor).Preferred: Law, Economics or Actuarial studies.Familiar With / Good Knowledge OfUsage of pricing models.Underwriting operations.Insurance operations.Statistics.Local regulation / legal basic understanding.What We OfferAt AXA Partners, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that.
