Join our cutting‑edge Engineering team! Our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value‑chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Engineering Transformation team works to improve the quality of our Engineering processes.
Responsibilities

Preparing, managing and negotiating the Baker Hughes technical proposal; responsible for the estimation/accuracy of the budget associated with the proposed solution.
Leading the definition of the project technical strategy, influencing customers towards Baker Hughes solutions by properly accounting for competitors’ technical strengths and weaknesses versus Baker Hughes offering/capabilities.
Preparing, within the required timeline, the most attractive technical proposal at first submission (i.e. including but not limited to the selection of rotating equipment and its auxiliary systems) using ITO tools and following ITO policies and procedures, implementing, where appropriate, innovative technology (NPD).
Applying product and quality policies, addressing and mitigating any risks as per Baker Hughes procedures.
Leading the technical negotiation, coordinating with supporting functions and attending meetings/presentations with customer.
Handing over the technical contract to execution team in case of award.

Qualifications

Have a degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent work experience and have experience in Engineering, Application Engineering, Technical Sales, Product management, Customer Service or equivalent technical/commercial role.
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Be fluent in English (written and spoken) with good communication and presentation skills.
Be willing to work on stretched deadlines with flexible time management and available to travel on short notice.
