Turbine Manufacturing Development & Qualification Engineer
Ansaldo Energia is a leading global power generation company. Its core business is the supply and service of components and technological solutions for energy production with rotary machines. The company designs and builds turbines and generators, and conducts ongoing service and improvement. Responsibilities & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing and machining technologies and processes (e.g., precision casting, machining, drilling, brazing, welding, coatings)
Knowledge and practice related to mechanics, design principles, geometric sizing and tolerances
Knowledge of metallic materials (mainly superalloys) and their properties to ensure correct choice, use, and manufacturing in components design, production, and repair
Direct or interface experience with supply chain operations and effective management of project supplies and deliveries
Proven ability to apply knowledge of components and systems to define and perform appropriate tests, verify compliance with technical requirements, and evaluate conformity/non-conformity
Understanding and experience with quality process management, measurement techniques, destructive and non-destructive testing methods
University degree in engineering or equivalent, or experienced technician
Ability and enthusiasm to work in an international, intercultural environment with external partners
Basic knowledge of gas turbine architecture and operation
Fluent in Italian and English
