Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) transports natural gas from the giant Shah Deniz field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea to Europe. The 878 km long pipeline connects with the Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) at the Turkish-Greek border in Kipoi, crosses Greece and Albania, and the Adriatic Sea, before coming ashore in Southern Italy.TAP will facilitate gas supplies to South Eastern European countries through prospective interconnectors. It is connected to the Interconnector Greece Bulgaria (IGB), which started operations in October 2022, providing Caspian gas to Bulgaria and enhancing energy security. TAP’s exits in Greece, Albania, and Italy offer multiple opportunities for further gas transport from Azerbaijan to wider European markets.As part of the Southern Gas Corridor, TAP is strategically and economically vital to Europe, supporting energy security, diversification, and decarbonisation goals.Your RoleThe TAP connects with the Trans Anatolian Pipeline at the Greek-Turkish border, crossing Northern Greece, Albania, and the Adriatic Sea, then landing in Italy to connect with Snam Rete Gas. It links to the Greek Interconnector Greece Bulgaria and the Greek national gas system operator DESFA. The pipeline is 877 km long, with two compressor stations and an initial capacity of 10 bcm/year, expandable by adding compressor units. Operations are monitored from the PRT in Melendugno.TAP offers capacity through the PRISMA platform, coordinated with transmission system operators and aligned with ENTSOG schedules.Reporting directly to the System Control & Dispatch Manager, the Integrated Dispatcher will work in a 24/7 rotating shift team, managing physical and commercial dispatch activities.Responsibilities/Tasks/AccountabilitiesPhysical Dispatching Activities:Monitor SCADA systems at the Pipeline Receiving Terminal (PRT) for safe and efficient operation.Coordinate with adjacent TSOs to manage system set points, ensuring gas nominations and quality targets are met.Review control system graphics for anomalies.Set process parameters for trending and troubleshooting.Respond to abnormal situations following operating procedures.Manage alarms and alerts.Follow override and emergency response procedures.Participate in root cause analysis and emergency exercises.Coordinate with O&M teams for maintenance and inspections.Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and training.Commercial Dispatching Activities:Coordinate daily commercial dispatch activities with the commercial team.Serve as the main contact for shippers and neighboring TSOs regarding dispatch activities.Manage nominations, re-nominations, and capacity bookings via PRISMA.Prepare daily reports for TSOs and ensure compliance with regulations.Handle outages, capacity interruptions, and ICT issues in coordination with teams.Note: Responsibilities may evolve based on operational needs.Your Profile
