Your journey starts here.Job Summary : The Tour Operations Specialist is responsible for executing and maintaining operational accuracy and vendor management for all tour components within an assigned territory. Handles all aspects of key line items within the operations systems from end to end. This position owns vendor, departure-specific updates, and confirmations for the territory, supports secure space and chase bids, and collaborates with Product Managers, Designers, and Buyers to provide status updates and make relevant changes within the operating systems. The role aligns with the company’s Excellence and Revenue goals.Primary Functions : Builds strong relationships with vendors through clear communication to confirm and update tour components and vendor status, recording confirmations within the systems. Attends regional meetings to support operational consistency with established tour itineraries, identifying operational needs and deviations. Coordinates across departments to ensure tour components are accurate and consistent, ensuring overall tour integrity for traveler satisfaction. Communicates with tour managers, buyers, product managers, and designers regarding vendor issues. Supports troubleshooting vendor issues raised by Tour Managers. Maintains tour documents, finds backup options when needed, and monitors inquiries and issues such as confirmations, questions, requests, invoices, and complaints. Manages non-required line items in the systems, including assigning services, creating suppliers, managing contracts, and scheduling side reservations. Assists with building and auditing tour components with high accuracy. Supports securing tickets for pre-purchased operational elements. Partners with regional teams for FAMs and add dates processes. Supports updates to Tour Change side reservations and vendor messaging with accuracy.Knowledge and Skills : Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. Experience in scheduling, logistics, supply chain, inventory, or ERP systems is a plus. Requires high initiative, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates ownership and proactive decision-making. Maintains a professional, positive demeanor. Collaborates well with others and fosters teamwork. Must be adaptable to industry changes and informed on current global events. Effective communication skills across all stakeholders. High technical proficiency within proprietary inventory and operations systems. Proficient in MS Office.
