OverviewGlobal Operations – TikTok Shop - Fulfillment Operations Manager (Warehouse Onsite)Location: MilanEmployment Type: RegularJob Code: A167722ResponsibilitiesManage and control performance and capacity of External Fulfilment Logistics providers (3PL)Monitor and analyze customer experience and operation performance, maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs with 3PL in a dynamic growing environmentLead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of forward-thinking solutions, addressing supply chain and logistics challenges within TikTok Logistics with a strong focus on efficiency, speed, scale, and predictabilityWork collaboratively across teams to gather and define comprehensive business requirements, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs of the supply chain and logistics operationsManage relationships with multiple internal customers within the third party facility and cross-functionally across the organizationRecognize improvement opportunities specific to the cost and quality of services to be provided. Create documented business cases, present business cases to peers and leadership for approval, and provide ongoing project managementCollaborate closely with the systems teams to create and refine capability roadmaps that outline the development and integration of new technologies, tools, and systems required to implement the proposed solutions effectivelyDrive the development of innovative solutions designs that leverage industry best practices and emerging technologies to address the unique challenges of the TikTok Shop Operations landscapeMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations, (Industrial/Mechanical) Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field5 years of experience in logistics operations and at least 3 years of experience in e-fulfillmentSolid working experience and relationship with fulfillment service provider(s)Fair understanding in any segment of eCommerce logistics operation, including (but not included in) data integration, fulfillment warehousing, first-mile pickup, parcel sorting, middle-mile, courier delivery, return process, import clearanceProficiency in oral and written English and Italian to support daily operations managementAble to work full-time onsite at the fulfillment centerPreferred QualificationsProven operations leadership experience in a fast-paced process driven environmentExcellent problem-solving skills: capable of identifying, assessing and mitigating risk and driving for solutionsExcellent analytical skills: capable of identifying, assessing and mitigating risks or critical issues using dataGood project management skills: theoretical and practical knowledge of Lean techniques such as Kaizen or Six SigmaFluent in Mandarin Chinese is a plus to better support our global selling business operationsAbout TikTokTikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video.
