OverviewLead a high-impact team driving innovation in tire testing and transportation technology. As Operations Leader, you’ll oversee vehicle testing, facility operations, and support functions—ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. This strategic role offers the chance to align operations with business goals, foster continuous improvement, and mentor future technical talent.What You’ll DoLead Daily Operations: Oversee objective vehicle-based testing, facility maintenance, and logistics. Prioritize and allocate resources to meet testing schedules and customer needs.Drive Safety & Quality: Champion a culture of safety and ensure compliance with Goodyear and regulatory standards. Maintain high-quality testing and maintenance practices.Develop Talent: Manage and mentor a team of operations professionals. Lead performance management, training, and succession planning to build a resilient and flexible workforce.Collaborate & Communicate: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Provide clear updates on test status, special requests, and operational performance.Innovate & Improve: Identify and lead strategic projects to enhance efficiency, standardization, and data quality. Support the development and implementation of new technologies and procedures.Plan for the Future: Contribute to the development of strategic, annual, and 5-year operational and capital plans for the department and Proving Grounds.What We’re Looking ForAssociate’s degree with 7+ years in R&D, manufacturing, or industrial operations, required (bachelor’s preferred).Experience with vehicle-based tire testing and facility operations.What Will Set You ApartProven leadership in a decentralized or technical environment.Strong understanding of ISO/TS/ECE standards and auditing.Familiarity with Goodyear safety standards and OSHA regulations.Proficiency in tools like SAP, Microsoft Office, Tableau, and internal systems (GTTD, TDIS).Ability to interpret and communicate technical data and testing methodologies.Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
