SPEA S.p.A., company worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of testing systems for semiconductors and electronic boards, is looking for a Test Engineer.ActivitiesTestability AnalysisUnderstand and communicate to team members the customer's testing needsAnalyze the specifications of the components to be tested, finding the best match with hardware specs and software features to build-up a complete Testability ReportEstimate resources and time required to develop the test application, collaborating with the project manager during the project execution to match the expected delivery date.Hardware & Test Program DesignDesign the interconnection hardware between the tester and the device to be tested, both for wafer test (EWS) and final test (FT)Develop test programs, using SPEA systems operating software and programming instructionsDebug & TroubleshootingDebug the interconnection hardware and Test Program verifying their proper operations and adherence to initial specificationsVerify the Test Application produced test data compliant with the customer requirements though statistical data processingFinal validation of the application at the customer's production site and related start-upCustomer point of contact for all Engineering Support activities and follow-up in productionRequirementsMaster Degree in Electronics EngineeringKnowledge of C / C ++ programming languageKnowledge and use of multi-meter, oscilloscope, function generatorElectrical schematics and PCB design skillsTroubleshooting mindsetGood knowledge of spoken and written EnglishWillingness to intercontinetal travelStrong attitude for team work, interpersonal and problem solving skillsKnowledge of broadband analog/digital circuitsKnowledge of signal integrity (S-parameter, insertion loss, impedance)Knowledge of Electromagnetic fields
