Test Engineer Responsibilities
Support definition of the test architecture, concurrence, and review of test requests and test plans.
Guarantee the availability of all components necessary for executing test activities.
Installation of test rigs and test articles: ensure proper layout of fluidic, mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical connections commissioning; set up and configure the data acquisition system; review and record test‑article quality documentation.
Coordinate the team executing activities according to EHS procedures.
Responsible for quality on‑time delivery and cost targets of the test campaign, proactively monitor progress, and define mitigation and corrective actions as needed.
Communications and updates relevant to test execution, issuing daily reports.
Managing test data with standard tools: fulfill the schedule of the test campaign agreed with internal and external customers and the test leader; perform troubleshooting; support the Test Leader in test‑data validation; disassemble and preserve used material.
Issuing test reports and management of test data: perform activities following rationalization and standardization of test methods reported in the test procedures with the intention of improving efficiency and effectiveness and meeting quality standards and requirements.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in an engineering and testing role.
Good knowledge of mechanical component design and familiarity with mechanical drawings.
Background in testing control systems, air/oil network systems, general plant services, electrical and electronics.
Background in measurement and acquisition systems.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required.
Desired Characteristics
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Some background in high‑frequency data management and vibration analysis.
Proven experience in leading cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
Some knowledge of project management.
PC proficiency.
Availability for three‑shift work.
