We are looking for a Test Automation Expert who will work for one of our most prestigious clients, an international research center based in Ispra (VA), Italy.
The role includes the following responsibilities:

Provide technical support for the preparation and execution of various laboratory activities.
Develop automation tools to manage and operate laboratory instrumentation, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, SDR boards, and GNSS-related equipment (receivers, simulators, recording and playback systems, timing systems, etc.).
Create and prepare test vectors for different projects within the EU navigation program.
Handle laboratory maintenance and contribute to its evolution and improvement.

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

Proficiency in software version control management.
Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB and Python.
Proven experience in using state-of-the-art instrumentation.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
Familiarity with GNSS technology and related systems.
Skills in Linux server and network management.
Skills in VHDL and embedded programming.
Good communication skills in English and strong teamwork attitude.
Analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to draft clear and well-structured technical documentation.

Work location: Ispra (VA), with the possibility of smart working up to 3 days per week.
