Position Summary: The Role
The Orthodontic Territory Manager will focus on acquiring new customers and developing existing ones for ClearCorrect. They will generate case submissions and production within their designated territory. The role involves establishing new accounts from leads, converting competitors' users, growing existing provider relationships, and enhancing customer loyalty and utilization through excellent service and patient growth activities. This is a field-based position that requires daily travel.
Responsibilities of the Position
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new cases and sales revenue.
Conduct phone calls, virtual meetings, and in-person visits to engage with customers.
Deliver sales presentations emphasizing product benefits, value propositions, and competitive advantages to attract new customers and expand share with existing ones.
Create and communicate clear proposals and quotations to clients.
Follow up on initial cases with new providers in the territory before transitioning to Inside Sales, maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and major clients.
Train clinic staff and motivate them to communicate effectively about ClearCorrect to patients.
Coordinate sales efforts with internal teams such as Inside Sales, Practice Implementation, Clinical Advisors, and Marketing to provide excellent service and resolve issues.
Participate in patient growth activities like open houses and seminars, and support T&E activities such as study clubs.
Analyze territory potential, identify opportunities, and develop strategic sales plans to optimize resource allocation and maximize growth.
Report activities using CRM tools like sales funnel (IANOS) and use dashboards for visibility; follow case and provider data through DoMo/Business Warehouse reports.
Achieve sales targets and metrics set by management on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Create growth and account plans for core customers and prospects to develop reference customers and local champions.
Represent the company at trade shows and conventions as required.
Stay informed about product applications, market trends, competitors, and promotional strategies.
Provide feedback on customer needs, market interests, issues, and competitor activities to support product development and service improvements.
Participate in team and company meetings to stay updated on relevant information.
Complete all required training and pursue ongoing self-learning to enhance role effectiveness.
Continuously increase knowledge of orthodontics, market trends, and company processes.
Understand and communicate the company's Vision and Mission, aligning with team and company priorities.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 2 years of sales or account management experience; background in dental or medical fields is a plus.
Proven success in sales or account management roles.
Strong presentation skills and language proficiency relevant to the territory; basic English skills required.
Ability to analyze data and generate reports based on management metrics.
Ability to interpret training, safety, and procedural documents.
Common sense application for instructions received in various formats; ability to prioritize customer needs and guide them appropriately.
