Job Overview
Inside the Teleport and Ground Infrastructures Engineering department in Rome, we are looking for a RF System Engineer, supporting RF Systems and Antenna design, procurement, installation, integration and test in the designated Ground Station facility.
Responsibilities

System Design – develop detailed requirements and define the system architecture, including specifications for the procurement of the required subsystems and services.
Technical management of the procurement process, including factory and on‑site test as applicable.
Integration of the subsystems in the overall system architecture, development and execution of system, end‑to‑end and on‑site tests.
Development of all relevant documentation (design documents, test plans and procedures, reports).
Project Management, including budgeted cost and schedule control.

Requirements

Experience of at least 3–5 years in antenna/ground station equipment and subsystem design.
Second‑level master’s degree in Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering.
Technical skills: system engineering methodologies, antennas and RF propagation, RF and microwave systems, modems and baseband processing, time and frequency systems.
Knowledge of satellite missions, satellite control techniques, monitoring and control protocols, antenna measurements and ECSS standards is appreciated.
Soft skills: problem solving, team working, flexibility.
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Place of work: Rome headquarters. Availability to make frequent trips to Saudi Arabia for a specific project.
