Repairing wind turbines on-site, when necessary, is the main focus of this role.We are looking for a technician specialized in Up-tower Repairs of Wind Turbines who can become a key technical reference for our clients.Flender is a German manufacturer of industrial machinery with over 9,000 employees worldwide, serving various industrial sectors. In this case, the focus is on the Wind Turbine sector, where the company owns the historic brands Winergy and Moventas, with over 400 GW installed, producing gearboxes, generators, and couplings. In Italy, operations are managed through the subsidiary Flender Italia Srl.What will be my responsibilities?Perform and complete repairs of wind turbines, particularly gearboxes and generators.Personally intervene in repairs and manage a technical intervention team.Work at heights, although typically within enclosed spaces such as wind turbine nacelles.Operate in compliance with all necessary HSE regulations.Be flexible for travel within Italy, including overnight stays, and occasionally for international trips.Build relationships with Italian and international colleagues and clients to improve results.Understand client needs, develop credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment.Operate autonomously in daily operational tasks.What are the necessary requirements for this job?Proven experience in dismantling/repair of industrial machinery.Mechanical knowledge, and possibly electrical knowledge.Skill in using mechanical tools and equipment.Physical fitness to operate in industrial plants.Strong customer orientation, team spirit, both with internal stakeholders (relevant departments and the German headquarters) and external clients.Excellent communication, relational, and motivational skills. Strong goal orientation, initiative, and autonomy.Flexibility and openness to innovation and change.Fluent knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken.Previous experience in the wind turbine sector is considered a plus.A passion for mechanical engineering is highly appreciated.Flender guarantees equal opportunities and welcomes applications that reflect these values.
