Responsibilities 1. Technical sales & SupervisionParticipate in customers discussions for technical sales on identified opportunitiesEnsuring the connection of experiences and technical proposals between Calderys experts and customersSupervision and verification of the refractory materials installation activities, intervening when requested, proposing the necessary corrections during the works.Lift customers' technical objections.Identify technical opportunities on existing products to optimize value proposition.2. Customer InnovationIdentify unmet technical needs of customers and develop potential new products / solutionsIntroduce and track KPIs to validate the effectiveness of new productsAct as link between customers and R&D / S&T / Operations on new product developmentLead trial management at the customer site and supervise trials at Calderys plant on new productsManage qualification process at customers for new products3. Management of Significant Customer Quality IssuesRespond to customers on significant quality issues and analyze causes and possible solutionsLiaise with operations / quality managers on solution identification and implementation4. Internal and External Expert RoleManage technical training of sales / marketing staff on his / her area of expertiseAct as technical ambassador for his / her area of expertise in external communication (customer technical training, participation in external knowledge sharing, fairs & conferences, etc.)Provide sales support by conducting cost analyses and defining products and projectsPrices to customersParticipate in budget & sales planning, ensure forecast accuracy, set sales performance goals accordingly.Ideal Job holder Profile / CompetenciesHigh School scientific Diploma or equivalent education in related fieldsKnowledge of refractory materialsMinimum 5 years experience in a technical sales / supervision roleKnowledge of the relevant industry and marketBusiness acumen and technical appetiteStrong analytical, interpersonal and communication (including negotiation) skills; value-added solution sellingAbility to use common IT tools (Excel, Word, Web tools)Commercial abilities / skills would be an advantageMandatory use of English (technical and commercial)Readiness to do regular business trips, mainly within Italy (up to 80%)J-18808-Ljbffr
