Your Responsibilities

Closely collaborate with R&D to identify and drive technical initiatives for material cost reduction, including support for new product development
Analyze production processes and bills of materials to uncover technical optimization opportunities and cost-saving measures
Organize and lead innovation workshops and cost-benefit analyses involving suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders
Ensure alignment between technical specifications, Commodity strategies, and evolving market trends
Support operational units in harmonizing scopes of supply / services in line with the global sourcing strategies
Provide technical and commercial input in development and production projects, including benchmarking, offer analysis, and identification of saving potentials
Evaluate and support supplier development from a technical perspective, together with cross-functional internal departments, to ensure optimal supplier selection
Coordinate technology scouting and adoption of innovative production approaches to strengthen competitiveness and value creation

Your Qualifications & Skills

University degree in Engineering, Economics, or related field
Experience in Procurement, R&D, or Product Cost Engineering, including proven leadership experience
Strong knowledge of technical procurement methods&tools (e.g., DTC, cost breakdown, VA / VE) and supplier collaboration models
Proven ability to influence product development with a value-driven mindset
Experience in working within matrix organizations and cross-functional environments
Deep understanding of supplier markets, manufacturing technologies, and cost structures
Strong analytical skills combined with a hands-on, pragmatic approach
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in multicultural environments
