Our customers are some of the world’s largest and most-respected companies.Our Bevcan Europe & MENA Business is a major supplier of beverage packaging to some of the biggest FMCG brands.We are now looking to recruit aFront End Team Leaderto be based in Parma in our production plant for aluminum beverage cans.The plant works on 24 / 7 shift patterns.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual, passionate about high speed production environments, to join a multinational organization.Purpose and responsibilities of this roleYou will answer to the Shift Manager at a shift level and Functionally to the Production Manager. When needed, you will act as a Shift Manager back-up (separate training will be provided on that).The purpose of this role is to manage the F / E’s team's activities, verify and ensure compliance with operating standards and procedures, as well as contribute to the continuous training of the F / E operators / mechanics.You will be responsible for :Coordinating the F / E team : define and supervise the activities of the team by analyzing the timing and methods for the planned activitiesTaking part to maintenance while assessing needs and standard procedures in collaboration with the maintenance department.Periodical check of all of the F / E machines and establish documentation of proper settings checks.Collaborate closely with the Toolcare responsible to optimize F / E tooling consumption and tooling manipulation from the operators.Generating F / E-related SOPsProposing and implementing improvements on the machine and on general operational conditions in the areaEstablishing 5s culture for the F / E area as the visual standardsPromoting the safety mindset and supporting the company’s Health & Safety initiativesTraining the F / E operators : develop training programs and actively manage training activities related to standard operational procedures, change over procedure, maintenance, settings and controls of the machines, etcEfficiently managing the documentation of the training programs to F / E operators and the results achieved, in collaboration with the HR DepartmentAssessing the performance of the F / E operators in collaboration with the Shift Manager and the HR Department and suggest training needs in conjunction with the proper filling in of the skills matrixes of the F / E operatorsActing as a point of contact with other Plant’s and the center’s PED Department for issues that require assistance, improvements and crosschecking of information related to the F / E areaCollaborating with the Purchasing Department and the Maintenance Department to optimize the spare parts stock and orders related to the F / E machinery, with regards to the monthly and the annual maintenancesProfile and Key competenciesWe require good interpersonal and leadership skills concerning the management of work teams and group dynamics, as well as flexibility and ability to organize work environments and times. Fundamental requirements for the position are the predisposition to work in team and to share ideas, open-mindedness and empathy.
