Our Teaching assistants play an important role in the daily life of our busy Early Years department. Candidates with experience supporting learners with a range of learning needs, including EAL, will be preferred. As interviews will be held on a rolling basis, we encourage applicants to apply early as the school reserves the right to make an appointment before the closing date for applications.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :Teaching assistants work alongside the class teacher to support the learning of the children. This may involve taking a small group aside for nurture or challenge activities linked to the learning objectives, or it could be one-to-one guidance of a particular child. You will also help the class teacher with the preparation of resources, documenting students’ learning, and maintaining a safe, welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
