to join its team in Milan North-East (Vimodrone Site, Metro Verde : Cascina Burrona).JOB OVERVIEWIn all countries where the Eurofins Group has a significant presence, it has been elected to pool a specific set of country-level support services into a National Service Centre (NSC), aiming for increased efficiency and adequate compliance and control levels. The growing complexity of tax regulations and reporting requirements has made the management of direct and indirect tax affairs a key priority. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all relevant tax compliance and reporting tasks are completed timely, while also providing tax management and optimization advisory at both local and international levels to support and enhance the business. The Tax Manager reports to the National Finance Director and, in a dotted line, to the Group Head of Taxes.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESTax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate compliance with local tax filings (corporate income taxes, VAT, other indirect taxes, withholding taxes, etc.), including regular updates on the tax unit situation.Specific Reporting duties: Handle mandatory reporting obligations such as Country-by-Country Reports, DAC-6 notifications, Pillar II-related returns/forms, etc.Tax Accounting: Manage the computation of local tax accruals, deferred tax assets and liabilities, and report to Group using FL06 and FLGL forms, analyzing tax processes and generating reports.Tax Risk Management: Establish a control framework to document, report, and mitigate tax risks, monitoring new legislation for potential exposures and responses.General Advisory and Tax Strategies: Provide tax advisory support, propose optimization ideas, and support corporate reorganizations, M&A, financing structures, and international tax treaty applications.Transfer Pricing: Update transfer pricing documentation annually to ensure compliance with legislation and Group policies.Global Minimum Tax / US CAMT: Understand and apply Pillar II implications, including calculations related to Global Minimum Tax and US CAMT.Tax audits & claims: Support responses to authorities, tax audits, and administrative claims, including court cases.Participation in Working Groups: Engage in international tax working groups to share knowledge and strategies.QUALIFICATIONSMaster Degree in Law or Economics; a Master in Tax Law is a plus.5-7 years of relevant experience in a Big-4 or similar firm, or industry, focusing on corporate tax.
