We work closely with colleagues across Europe and globally, offering integrated and strategic tax advice across jurisdictions and industries, with particular strength in financial services, energy, and real estate.Joining our team means becoming part of a forward-thinking environment with strong international exposure.The RoleWe are seeking a Tax Associate to join our Milan office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to develop their career in a supportive and international setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in providing tax advice on domestic and cross-border transactionsSupport in drafting tax memoranda and opinionsParticipate in tax due diligence processesConduct research and analysis on Italian and international tax regulationsCollaborate with other practice groups on multidisciplinary mattersSupport marketing efforts to grow the tax practice, including client outreach and internal initiativesDraft tax-related content for publication to enhance visibility and attract clientsSkills and Experience RequiredLaw degree with a focus on tax law or a postgraduate qualification in tax2-4 years of experience in a law firm or tax advisory firmStrong knowledge of Italian tax law; familiarity with international tax principles is a plusExcellent legal research and drafting skillsFluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)Strong academic background and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and in a teamAttention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workGeneral ApproachCandidates should also demonstrate a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn, show strong organizational and time management skills, build positive relationships within the team and with clients, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work environment.We welcome receiving direct candidate applications via our careers page.Norton Rose Fulbright encourages workforce diversity in all aspects and at all levels and creates an environment where everyone can realize their full potential and career ambitions on the basis of merit and skill.
