Project description
We are supporting Our client in a strategic automotive project focused on Functional Safety (FuSa) and next-generation ECU development. The role involves working on multi-core configurations, Classic AUTOSAR, and Basic Software (BSW) stacks, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards. The architect will collaborate with global teams to design and configure ECU systems that meet ASIL‑D certification requirements.
Responsibilities

Define and maintain system and software architecture for automotive ECUs.
Evaluate ECUs with the goal of achieving ASIL certification.
Perform HARA (Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment) and TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) activities.
Design, configure, and implement BSW stacks as per AUTOSAR standards.
Provide guidance on hardware configuration for platforms such as Aurix TC3XX, Traveo, and S32K.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE processes.
Support integration and configuration of Vector tooling and other AUTOSAR toolchains.
Communicate technical concepts and safety strategies to stakeholders.

SKILLS
Must have

Functional Safety expertise: ISO 26262, ASIL‑D, HARA, TARA.
Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR (Classic) and BSW stack implementation.
Hands‑on experience with Vector tools and ECU configuration.
Familiarity with hardware platforms: Aurix TC3XX, Traveo, and S32K.
Ability to design and review technical safety concepts and perform ASIL decomposition.
Experience in multi‑core ECU architecture and configuration.
Strong communication and leadership skills for guiding teams and stakeholders.

Preferred

Exposure to ASPICE, SAFe Agile, and automotive cybersecurity.
