Reporting to the IT Operations Lead, our recently launched Luxury Cruises line of MSC is seeking an IT Systems Engineering Specialist. This role involves building, maintaining, and troubleshooting our IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESGuarantee the technical quality of IT operations projects.Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for Explora Journeys, following established guidelines or SOPs.Ensure systems and infrastructure are available at the highest levels.Manage cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.Collaborate with operations, architecture, product teams, suppliers, and stakeholders for continuous improvement.Apply industry best practices for change management processes.REQUIREMENTS1-2 years of experience supporting deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure/systems and users.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Experience with Cloud Operations and Application & Infrastructure monitoring.Knowledge in scripting and advanced log management is a plus.Proven experience in the cruise industry is required.Fluent in English, both oral and written; additional languages are an advantage.Excellent analytical skills, a methodical approach, and attention to detail.
