This is a full-time position as a System Engineer for automotive power electronics development team. With the support from the engineering team, the candidate will work with customers to manage the project and provide technical support.
International Travel
Up to 20% of work time (required for cross-regional collaboration).
Education & Experience
Master’s degree preferred, in electrical engineering. Minimum 2 years of experience developing power inverter hardware or software.
Qualifications & Knowledge
2+ years of developing power inverter for electric vehicle.
Deep understanding of AC motor control.
Familiar with calibration/measurement tools, including INCA, CANape, CANalyzer, etc.
Proven track record of working and leading local and overseas teams.
Ability to incorporate software requirements into software architecture efficiently and effectively.
Strong teamwork, excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage work to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem solving, sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Lead the weekly meeting with customers to provide development status updates and issue tracking.
Coordinate local and overseas teams to track development progress.
Serve as the technical interface, debug the issues with customers.
Provide on-site support.
Work with internal and external customer teams to create and review technical specifications, define the software architecture and project plans.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and analyze root cause of failures. Implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and objectives.
