Position
System Engineer within the IT team responsible for implementing, managing, maintaining and monitoring the group's IT infrastructure at software and virtualization platform levels. Supports software development team with deployment and high-level troubleshooting procedures. Also proposes and engineers automation solutions to streamline processes.
Responsibilities

Installation, maintenance and monitoring of Linux and Windows server farm.
Monitoring of application and infrastructure stacks.
Development of scripts and automation solutions using Ansible.

Technology Context

Advanced management of application stacks in hybrid Linux/Windows environments.
Extensive use of virtualization solutions.
Proficient use of automation platforms based on PowerShell and Ansible.

Requirements

Good knowledge of Linux systems (preferably Debian and Ubuntu) and Windows Server.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and core roles (DNS, DHCP, File Server).
Basic understanding of Network & Security principles.
Basic knowledge of virtualization architectures and platforms (Nutanix AHV, VMware, Proxmox, Hyper‑V).
Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network services (HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, FTP/SFTP).
Knowledge of at least one scripting language among PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

Preferred

Experience with Ansible automation.
Experience with Git.
Experience with IIS, Apache, Tomcat, Nginx.
Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with MariaDB, MySQL.
Knowledge of HAProxy, Minio, Keycloak.
