The company utilizes proprietary technologies based on FOG (Fiber Optic Gyroscope) and MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems).Founded: 2012 in Italy, listed on Euronext Milan since 2022, now part of Honeywell (acquisition completed in August 2024).Job Summary:The System Engineer will be involved in designing and developing inertial navigation systems, supporting customer requirements analysis, system architecture development, verification, and coordination of system development, integration, and qualification activities. The role requires continuous technical communication with customers.Main Tasks:Support the definition and drafting of System Development Plans following recognized standards (ARP4754, ARP4761).Organize and manage program development documentation.Define high-level system requirements and architecture; flow-down requirements to subsystems.Review low-level requirements for various components.Conduct static and dynamic analysis of IMU performance.Assist in defining system test procedures and qualification plans.Support system integration and testing of INS/AHRS/IMU systems.Review and approve technical design documents and test reports.Evaluate technical specifications for bids and proposals.Qualifications and Skills:University degree in Electronics, Opto-Electronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.Knowledge of avionics, navigation algorithms, control systems, and communication protocols.Understanding of standards like ARP-4754, ARP-4761, DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461.Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink; familiarity with requirements management tools (preferably IBM Rational DOORS).Knowledge of system safety concepts, reliability assessment, and environmental testing standards.Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.Intermediate English language skills.Preferred Skills:Basic knowledge of reliability prediction standards (e.g., MIL-HDBK-217F).Experience with model-based design and product certification standards (EASA, ESA).
