We are looking for a System Engineer to join our systems engineering team in La Spezia.
Overview
The role involves contributing to analysis, design, and requirements management in complex aerospace and defense projects using a Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) approach. Key standards include MIL‑STD‑498 for requirements definition and IBM tools such as Rational Rhapsody, DOORS, RTC, and RPE.
Responsibilities

Defining, analyzing, and managing system requirements according to the MIL‑STD‑498 standard.
Modeling and designing complex systems using an MBSE approach.
Using main MBSE tools for requirements definition, traceability, and verification: IBM Rational Rhapsody, IBM DOORS, IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC), IBM RPE.
Supporting system integration, verification, and validation activities.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in system engineering and project management.

Qualifications

Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or similar (essential requirement).
Native Italian speaker with a good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
Experience in applying Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
Good knowledge of MBSE tools: IBM Rational Rhapsody, DOORS, RTC, RPE (at least 1 year of experience, mandatory).
Knowledge of the MIL‑STD‑498 standard.
Analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and aptitude for working in multidisciplinary teams.
At least 1 year of previous experience in the defense sector.
