System Administrator and Cybersecurity Specialist
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented System Administrator and Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Trieste. In this role, you will oversee the entire company IT infrastructure and manage the cybersecurity and compliance aspects of the organization. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure our systems are secure, efficient, and up to date. You will collaborate closely with our CEO and all company departments.
A valid Italian work permit is required.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and install software on employees' PCs, tablets, and mobile phones
Install and configure routers, switches, and printers
Evaluate the purchase of additional software and hardware
Onboard employees on various software tools and IT procedures
Troubleshoot technical issues of employees' devices and act as the point of contact for IT support with suppliers
Manage backups, data recovery plans, and maintain company in-house systems
Create and maintain the inventory of all company software accounts, licenses, hardware, and users.
Cybersecurity and Compliance
Oversee the entire cyber and physical security aspects of the company
Ensure the proper use of security practices and train employees on security aspects
Manage and assess the implementation of certifications such as ISO 27001
Be in charge of filling out security surveys for customers and partners.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a field related to the position
At least 5 years of professional experience in system administration, cybersecurity, or DevOps
Native or very advanced Italian proficiency and professional English proficiency
Excellent organizational skills, punctual, and a precise, detail-oriented attitude
Loyal and trustworthy, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Must be authorized to work in the European Union.
