Role Description
In Arcadis, we’re looking for a Sustainable Operations Consultant for Environmental Due Diligence who will help clients assess and manage environmental risks across commercial and industrial sites. You will conduct environmental due diligences, compliance audits, and identify potential liabilities, recommending corrective actions to meet legal requirements. Your responsibilities also include supporting EHS consulting especially in the context of acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures.
Role Accountabilities

Environmental Due Diligences and Compliance Audits
Identification of potential environmental liabilities due to past and current activities, including definition of corrective actions to meet legislative requirements and associated costs, mainly in the frame of pre-acquisition, merge and divestiture projects of commercial and industrial sites.
Compliance audits aimed at assessing environmental, health and safety compliance against local legislation, internal clients and European standards.
EHS consulting services.
Development and implementation of EHS integrated management systems.
Development and implementation of legal tracking systems, EHS training.

Qualifications & Experience

At least 3-5 years of experience in EHS Due Diligences, EHS Compliance Audits and related consultancy services.
Degree in Engineering, Geology or Environmental Sciences.
Very good level (B2) of English and Italian.
Knowledge of current Italian legislation framework regarding environmental and H&S requirements.
Knowledge and Risk Assessment of Organizational Management systems according to Lgs.D. 231/2001.
Development, implementation, and auditing of Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001) and Safety (ISO 45001) Management Systems.
Excellent abilities of analysis and synthesis.
Excellent relationship skills and teamwork attitude.
Availability to travel in Italy and abroad.
