Grupo Nueva Pescanova is a leading multinational company in the seafood sector, committed to sustainability, innovation, and the well‑being of our people. As we strengthen our presence, we are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join Pescanova Italia, our commercial subsidiary based in Bologna.
The role

Mission: to ensure effective management of procurement, production, inventory, and distribution activities in order to deliver an optimal level of customer service, in line with the company’s cost and efficiency objectives.
Reporting Line: this role will report directly to the Country Supply Chain Manager, Marco de Vanna.

Key Responsibilities

Support demand and supply planning activities.
Coordinate procurement with production plants, suppliers, and logistics service providers.
Monitor orders, deliveries, and inventory levels from order receipt through final delivery to customers.
Track stock levels, expiration dates, product rotation, and availability.
Work closely with the commercial team to anticipate needs and manage priorities.
Analyze supply chain issues (shortages, delays, losses) and propose operational solutions.
Ensure accurate management of documentation (purchase orders, delivery notes, logistics invoicing).
Prepare and maintain supply chain reports and KPIs (service level, inventory turnover, lead times, etc.).
Manage and keep master data up to date in ERP systems.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within a growing commercial environment.

Requirements

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar supply chain position, ideally in the food, seafood, or perishable goods sectors.
Solid knowledge of inventory management, planning, and commercial logistics.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Native Italian speaker with Spanish and English language skills for professional purposes.
Hands‑on, operational profile with a strong business mindset.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills in demanding commercial environments.
Customer‑ and service‑oriented approach.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical skills and problem‑solving capabilities.

The commercial office is located at Via Ugo Bassi 7, Bologna.
